House on a Slope is a minimalist residence located in Liestal, Switzerland, designed by Schaerermattle Architects. The house is located on a southern slope. On the plot is a sequoia tree in the north. The living space is defined by a quadratic slightly raised square platform. In the middle of a support carries the roof in the form of an irregular polygonal. The result is a central space which sets the north-facing garden with the south-facing panorama in dialogue. The living room is glazed. The sleeping and working rooms of this apartment are located in a mural building wing, which is slightly angled to the living room. These rooms are introverted. A second apartment is below the square living room. It is spatially caught by a circumferential fall.
